Local Democratic leaders announced Tuesday they will host a listening session Monday for area constituents. Representatives Cory Mason (66th District), Peter Barca (64th) and Tod Ohnstad (65th) and Sen. Bob Wirch (22nd) released a joint statement inviting residents to talk about Gov. Scott Walker’s proposed 2015-2017 budget. “Are things about Walker’s budget you like? Would like to change?” they wrote. “Here’s your chance to let us know.” The session is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Great Lakes Room in the Racine Building at Gateway Technical College, 1001 S. Main Street.
