“Racine County – Come Stay Awhile” makes an encore appearance on Discover Wisconsin this weekend. The episode will be presented at 10 a.m. Saturday (July 8) on Fox Sports Wisconsin (check cable listings) and at 10 a.m. Sunday (July 9) on WITI-TV (Fox 6).

The show kicks off in Burlington with host Eric Paulsen. He learns about the famous Burlington Liars Club and the downtown Farmers’ Market, watches the Browns Lake Aquaducks, the Burlington Christmas parade, and experiences ChocolateFest and Burlington’s history as “Chocolate City, USA”.

Next up is Racine, where Paulsen visits the Racine Art Museum (RAM), which holds the largest collection of contemporary crafts in the nation and offers art camps and classes for kids of all ages. He also visits RAM’s Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts, which offers programs for children, adults and those with memory loss and dementia.

Meanwhile, host Collin Geraghty takes viewers to Apple Holler, Yorkville, for some apple-picking, peach-picking, horseback riding, and dining and shopping at Apple Holler’s restaurant and country store, open year-round.

Geraghty’s last stop in Racine is at The Christmas House B&B. We learn how the house got its name, visit with fellow guests, and hear from innkeeper, Pamela Deskins.

“Racine County – Come Stay Awhile” will reach Discover Wisconsin’s broadcast network of 500,000 viewers across the upper Great Lakes region, including Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Northern Illinois, and Upper Michigan.
