After talking with elementary students last week about his duties as a police officer – including finding dogs – a Mount Pleasant police officer got a call the same day about a dog.

MPPD Officer Matt Prochaska answered a call for a loose dog in Sanders Park. When he arrived, he found this mild-mannered mastiff who he then delivered to the Mount Pleasant campus of the Wisconsin Humane Society.

Staffers there named him Remi and list him as approximately 4 years old.

If anyone recognizes this dog, please contact his family and/or have his family contact WHS at (262) 554-6699.
