Dollar General Corp., which is based in Tennessee, opened a store Sunday at 3440 Douglas Ave. The retail store, which is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week, sells household goods, make-up, frozen foods, cleaning supplies and clothing. The company employs eight people at the Douglas Avenue store location. An employee at the store said the store will hold a grand opening on Jan. 10.
