Liquor, drink chips, a security system that was still in the box, a safe, and a television were stolen sometime between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. Jan. 8  from Greg’s Catering and Don’s Meat Market, 3120 Roberts St., in Caledonia.

Burglars also damaged several video gaming machines and took about $1,000 cash, which was inside of the machines. The estimated cost of the stolen items is $4,300 and the damage is estimated at $3,500, according to a report by the Caledonia Police Department.

Police believe the suspects got into the building through an unlocked door because there was no sign of forced entry.
