DSW Shoes will open its first Racine County location in Regency Point strip center on Highway 31 early next year.
Christina Cheng, senior director of investor relations, confirmed for Racine County Eye Monday that the company plans to open a 17,000 square foot store in the first three months of 2015.
According to the DSW website, the company operates 400 stores in markets across the country.
The new store will bring with it 35 to 45 new jobs, a mix of full and part time positions.
“We offer a mix of full and part positions at each of our stores,” Cheng said. “We are excited to open our first store in Racine.”
Applications are being accepted. Interested candidates should visit the DSW website to apply for a position at the new store.
