Citizens who want to be sure their vote counts during the August 9 partisan primary can cast an early ballot through August 5. Early voting got underway Monday and is available during regular business hours at municipal buildings like Racine’s City Hall and the village halls of Caledonia, Mount Pleasant and Sturtevant as well as at the county clerk’s office. Early voting ends at 5 p.m. August 5, and the partisan primary is Tuesday, August 9.
