Dash any plans for lunch or dinner Friday and go instead to Buffalo Wild Wings with the ticket attached to this story and help the City of Racine’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department. The parks & rec department provides activities for kids of all ages all year round, including playground programs during the summer, basketball and open gym in the fall and winter. There are also plenty of things for adults, too, like kickball and softball leagues and a full roster of fun for seniors. A full 10 percent of your purchase – with the ticket and all day – will be donated to Parks & Rec. You have to eat anyway, right? Buffalo Wild Wings opens at 11 a.m. Friday and is located at 5880 Durand Avenue.

In addition to our education features, we’ll be kicking off a series of stories highlighting how parents, students, and educators are adapting to the impact of COVID-19 on education. If this is important to you, please consider donating to our education reporting fund. https://business.facebook.com/donate/1846323118855149/3262802717172659/
