A 75-year-old man was seriously injured after he was struck by a car in a hit and run crash that happened at 6:12 p.m. Monday.

Fredrick Billman, of Caledonia, was struck by a Chevrolet Impala while he was crossing Highway 31 near Three Mile Road. Rescue workers transported Billman to Ascension Hospital in Franklin.

Caledonia Police say the car was likely manufactured between 2000 and 2005. Police recovered car parts at the scene. The car is missing a driver’s side mirror.
