Empty Bowls 2017

Less people will go hungry because of Empty Bowls and Thoughts for Food, two fundraisers that help bring food to those in need.

Hundreds of people visited Racine Festival Hall this afternoon for Empty Bowls, an event that helps remind people in Racine County are not immune to hunger. Between the volunteers, the donations and the community support — it was clear to see that this issue remains top of mind in Racine.

But the event is far from over. Doors opened up again Monday night for dinner until 7 p.m. The cost:

$15.00 includes a handmade ceramic bowl, soup, bread, coffee/water
$5.00 for children under 10 (plastic bowl)
$10 for soup to go

Come hungry.
