RACINE, Wis. – Faith, Hope & Love is pleased to announce it has received a $5,000 donation from SC Johnson in support of its Duffels for Kids program, which provides emergency duffel bags filled with personal care and comfort items for children displaced from their home due to abuse, neglect or a tragedy.

Since 2014, the Duffels for Kids program has provided duffel bags to more than 9,653 children in crisis. These packages often include much-needed items like fleece blankets, toiletries, toys and more. To make it extra special, Faith, Hope & Love often hand-delivers the care packages to law enforcement officers, homeless shelters, domestic abuse shelters, foster care and local schools and hospitals.

Faith, Hope & Love is dedicated to ensuring that when children are being pulled from their homes that they are given a duffle bag filled with personal care and comfort items. And the organization thanks its community partners, including SC Johnson, the Racine County Sheriff Department, Mount Pleasant Police Department, Wisconsin Children’s Hospital, Aurora Hospital, and many others for its support.

These generous donations significantly help Faith, Hope & Love reach its mission that no child is ever given a trash bag. Whatever these children have left of their self-worth should not be carried in a garbage bag; they deserve better.
