The man who died Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle vs. SUV accident has been identified as Bruce Cook, 66, of Caledonia.

He died at 3:11 p.m. at Wheaton Franciscan St. Mary’s after the motorcycle he was operating was in an accident with an SUV around 2:25 p.m. Saturday, a story in The Journal Times reads.

Condolences for Cook’s family were posted on the Racine County Eye Facebook page.

“He’ll be sorely missed. Please watch out for motorcycles,” Mary Fick posted.

Katie Tiderman, who knew Cook, said he loved to ride and was a good friend.

“He was a dear friend to me and to all who knew him. He loved to ride,” she wrote. “I hope you are smiling with your sweet Nona in heaven. I will miss you.”

The accident is still under investigation, and new information about what caused it has not been released.
