Looking for a fish fry in Racine County? We’ve got a number of great sources of where to go — from our readers’ suggestions to area websites.

Lent begins on Wednesday, Feb. 18. And while not all Christian churches practice Lent, many Christians give up eating red meat during the Lenten season, which starts 40 days before Easter.

“Lent is a time when many Christians prepare for Easter by observing a period of fasting, repentance, moderation and spiritual discipline. The purpose is to set aside time for reflection on Jesus Christ – his suffering and his sacrifice, his life, death, burial and resurrection,” according to ChristianAbout.com.

But you don’t have to be religious to enjoy a good fish fry. Here are a few sources on where to find your fish fry fix. Let us know in the comments section which ones are your favorites.
