Racine police arrested another member of the “Dirty P” gang Tuesday on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of a loaded gun.

An investigator with the Racine Police Department attempted to speak with Keory M. Jones, 18, of Racine, about an attempted homicide. But when he approached Jones and told him to stop, Jones took off running, according to a criminal complaint by the Racine County District Attorney’s Office.

Officers located Jones hiding under a car. The investigator persuaded the teenager to come out from under the vehicle, upon which he was searched. The officer found 3.6 grams of marijuana and a .22 caliber revolver on him. Jones told police he found the revolver near 6th street, already loaded.

Along with the drug possession charge and the gun possession as a convicted felon charge, Jones is charged with resisting and officer and five counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
