RACINE, WI – No one was injured in a fire that destroyed a detached garage Saturday night at a residence at 313 North Memorial Drive.

Fire and rescue personnel with the Racine Fire Department responded to a report of a fire just before 9 p.m. When crews arrived, they found flames coming through the roof of the garage over the third garage stall, according to a press release by the Racine Fire Department.

Firefighters forced entry to extinguish the fire. The cause is under investigation. The estimated loss is $40,000.
