Want great food and fine dining experience in Racine? Want to help culinary students become even more prepared to enter their careers?

Gateway Technical College will continue its fine dining nights Mondays in the Breakwater Dining Room of the Lake Building on its Racine Campus. The seven-course meal is $25. It’s prepared and served by Gateway Culinary students in their final semester of the program.

The meal includes non-alcoholic beverage, two appetizers, soup, a garden or specialty salad, two home-made breads, main entrée (diners can choose from three) and dessert.

Students also interact with diners, talking to them about their meal and answering questions they have, including ingredients used to prepare the recipes.

Because it is a learning experience, diners will be invited to fill out a questionnaire about how they liked their meals.
Diners benefit, too, from the great food and ambiance. Fine dining nights are quite popular. Gateway has held the fine dining nights for more than 25 years.

When: Every Monday in February and March, plus April 1 and 8
Where: Breakwater Dining Room (L007), Lake Building, Gateway’s Racine Campus, 1001 S. Main St.
How to reserve: Call 619-6556 or email sullivanje@gtc.edu. Diners must arrive no later than 5:20 p.m.
