In another small step toward normal driving through Racine County, the northbound ramp for I-94 at Highway 20 has re-opened.

Now, drivers can both exit and enter the northbound (west) lanes at Highway 20. The exit ramp opened last week.

The exit and entrance ramps on the northbound lanes at I-94 at Highway 20 closed in May.

Reconstructing the Highway 20 interchange is part of an overall $1.9 billion I-94 improvement project that will widen and improve lanes from downtown Milwaukee south to the Illinois border.

Completing the work on the interchange is expected to take two years. Work on the southbound (east) side will commence next year.
