Whether or not Gov. Scott Walker will visit Racine June 27 is still up in the air, but if he does, the visit will most likely entail smaller meetings instead of a larger, public listening session.
Walker’s office hasn’t confirmed that he’ll be in town June 27, but multiple sources have told Racine County Eye the governor plans to meet with groups and organizations but not to hold a public listening session when he’s in town.
Racine County Eye contacted RAMAC President Jim Ladwig, and he said he was also aware of a possible Walker visit but that the governor’s office hadn’t contacted him or RAMAC.
We will update this story as details become available.
