12022205_10153238342054514_503607564_oGreening Greater Racine, an environmental group looking to address several environmental issues in the community, is hosting a meeting about the food issues people have in accessing healthy food, especially those in low-income neighborhoods.

The meeting will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Fellowship of Christian Believers Church, 703 Washington Ave.

“This meeting is for all members of the community interested in making a difference in our local food system and making sure all people have access to healthy food, especially in food desert areas,” said David Rhoads.

Mayor John Dickert will also roll out several new initiative being planned to address the issue.
