Job seekers interested in exploring opportunities in the healthcare industry are invited to a Healthcare Employer Panel Discussion from 9 – 11 a.m. in Classrooms C & D on March 12 at the Racine County Workforce Development Center, 1717 Taylor Avenue.

Representatives from Wheaton Franciscan, Lakeview Specialty Hospital & Rehab and Dental Associates will participate in the event.

County Executive Jim Ladwig announced today that the Racine County Workforce Development Center will host a Healthcare Employer Panel Discussion, the second in a series to raise awareness about local industries in Racine County.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Economic Advisors, healthcare occupations are projected to grow nearly 50% faster than total employment by 2020, with higher than average wages in many of the healthcare occupations.

The general public and job seekers interested in learning about the great companies and available job opportunities in the healthcare field are encouraged to attend the March 12th event. The panel will be held at the Racine County Workforce Development Center, 1717 Taylor Avenue, Racine.

If you are interested in learning more about the various specialties and opportunities comprising the healthcare industry, you don’t want to miss the panel discussion with our local healthcare organizations.
