Just in time for the start of the new school year, summer makes a spectacular return with temperatures expected to soar close to 90.

Meteorologists at WISN 12 News are predicting the first day of school could be a little uncomfortable.

“Highs (Tuesday) and Wednesday reach to near 90 with upper 80s in place for Thursday,” Sally Severson posted on the station’s weather blog. “Plan on 80s for highs through next weekend.”
