After enjoying several days of gorgeous summer weather with warm sun, cool breezes and nearly perfect temperatures, the heat and humidity return along with increased chances for much needed rain.

The National Weather Service is calling for fog Tuesday morning before 8 a.m. and high temperatures in the low to mid 80s. Chances for rain hover around 40 percent Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, but increase to about 50 percent during the day Wednesday with high temps of mid to upper 80s.

Racine County also has a 50 percent chance of rain Thursday with highs in the mid 70s while Friday will start cloudy and a 30 percent chance of rain before the sun comes back out.

Another beautiful weekend could be in store; the NWS says Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high of around 73 while Sunday will be an almost carbon copy with mostly sunny skies and a high of 75.
