Electronics store H.H. Gregg is moving out of Regency Mall, and Bob’s Discount Furniture is moving in sometime later this year or early next year. Construction on the new store could begin as early as this fall, a story in The Journal Times reads, and will include entrances from the mall into the space as well as an exterior entrance between Ross Dress for Less and the mall entrance on that side of the building. H.H. Gregg opened in 2012 and is only accessible via the doors on the southwest side of the mall. Representatives from the architectural firm drawing up the plans for Bob’s Discount Furniture appeared before the Racine Planning Commission Wednesday to discuss signage and facade design, the story continues. According to the furniture store’s website, Bob’s operates 69 showrooms in 12 states along the Eastern seaboard and here in the Midwest, including Illinois. The company is headquartered in Manchester, MA, and has a distribution center in Shorewood, IL.
