A Racine man has been revealed as the perpetrator of a hit and run on Feb. 18 that left two injured.

Jorge Rodriguez, 29, slammed into a car at the intersection of LaSalle Street and High Street around 8 p.m., then drove off, according to a criminal complaint by the Racine County District Attorney’s Office.

A witness at the intersection described to police the incident and identified Rodriguez’s car as a silver Chevy Cruze.

The occupants of the other vehicle suffered injuries from whiplash as well as contusions from the impact.

Rodriguez is charged with two counts of hit and run causing injury.
