The often-told “A Christmas Carol” gets a tuneful treatment in “Scrooge – the Musical.” The Haylofters present this Charles Dickens classic all weekend at the Malt House Theatre, 109 N. See a mansion. The Henry S. Durand mansion, 1012 Main St., is all gussied up for the holidays. This 19th century treasure has special themed room and more decorated Christmas trees than you can count! Mansion tours are scheduled for the next two weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 12 to 6 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for kid ages 4 through 11. See it live. Live nativity scenes are a wonderful Christmas tradition. You can see one this Friday and Saturday at the Lutheran Chapel of the Cross, 1426 Fancher Road, Mount Peasant at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Friday; 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Free Christmas concert. The annual Kiwanis Youth Symphony winter concert is 5:30 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 716 College Ave., Racine. The presentation of Christmas and classical music is performed by elementary through high school students. Free admission; donations are welcome
