Homer E. Nichols Jr., 69, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Ascension All Saints Hospital. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 8, 1948, and was the son of the late Homer and Thelma (Nee: Norris) Nichols.
Homer owned and operated with his sons, Homeworks, a remodeling company for over thirty years. Homer enjoyed working on old cars, golfing, entertaining and cooking for family and friends. More than anything he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Michael (Michelle) Nichols and their children, Michael and Matthew, Paul Nichols, Melanie (Robert) Fisa and their children, Savannah and Ames; sister, Donna (William) Hohman, William (Nancy) Nichols; former wife and dear friend, Leslie Nichols; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Preservation Hall, 740 Lake Avenue, from 4 p.m. until time of Remembering Service at 6 p.m.
