Investigators with the Racine Police Department are searching for a homicide suspect in a fatal shooting that happened Sunday afternoon in the 600 block of North Memorial Drive.
Dominique I. Knight, is suspected of shooting Harry Thomas Canady Jr., who died at the hospital after he was shot. Police warn that Knight is armed and dangerous. If he’s seen, people should not approach him.
He is described as a black man, 246 pounds, five-foot 11-inches tall, black hair, and brown eyes. Knight has tattoos on both of his forearms. He also has ties to Racine and Kenosha.
After Canady was shot, he was taken to Ascension Hospital — All Saints. But the man, who was in his 20s, died at the hospital.
Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this crime. Any witnesses, or citizens with information are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.
