A hoverboard caught fire at 1 p.m. Saturday at a home located at 1416 College Avenue.

According to officials with the Racine Fire Department, the fire started inside a second floor bedroom and was quickly extinguished. But it cause an estimated $60,000 in damage to the home.

Everyone inside the home and the family pets were able to escape. No one was injured, but the blaze caused fire and smoke damage to the entire second floor of the home.
