The Racine Common Council had three primary races on Feb. 16, which were decided by a small number of people who came out to the polls.

In the second and sixth district seats, two of the incumbents — Mollie Jones and Sandy Weidner — ran for re-election while incumbent James Kaplan bowed out. Jones and Weidner will again be on the spring ballot. Jones will face Robert Anderson and Weidner will face Jeffrey Peterson.
