On Sunday night, at 2:13 a.m., Racine Police Department responded to Tropical Paradise, 1600 Douglas Ave., after reports of shots fired were received.  Upon arrival, officers found individuals suffering from various gunshot wounds.  An initial investigation revealed that an argument started outside the bar. The argument led to shots being fired. People were exiting Tropical Paradise at the time of the shooting resulting in bystanders being struck by gunfire.

The victims were transported to the Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare emergency room, with one victim was eventually transported to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. One of the victims is female, 30 years old and the other two victims are male, ages 37 and 47.  None of the injuries appeared to be life threatening. There was no update on the injuries as of Monday.

One person is in custody, but the investigation remains open.  No other information was available Monday.
