Conditions inside Orphan Kanines, 1922 Kremer Avenue, in Caledonia were considered so hazardous that animal humane and law enforcement officers were not allowed inside until the building was aired out enough to reduce the ammonia in the air to safe levels. Our friends at Racine Uncovered were allowed inside. Here are some of the photos and videos they were able to take.
