It’s the first day of October. So that makes it almost Halloween, at least in my book it is.

And Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. So I say we talk Halloween decorating and ghost stories.

Who goes a little overboard with their Halloween decorations east of the Interstate? When do you put them up? How much is too much? Do your neighbors still like you after Halloween?

If you’ve got a great Halloween house, email us the address at racinecountyeye.com and put in Halloween House in the subject line. We’ll be looking for some places to photograph over the next few weeks.

I’m also looking for some Halloween ghost story fodder. I’m sure east of the Interstate has its share of ghost stories… so send us those ideas too at Racinecountyeye.com, but put ghost story in the subject line.
