Sturtevant President Steve Jansen is being held in the Racine County Jail on a probation hold issued by the Department of Corrections.
Online jail records indicate he was booked in Tuesday on an alcohol-related charge. Jansen is prohibited from consuming alcohol as a condition of his probation stemming from a felony stalking charge filed in February 2012.
Jansen was accused of stalking a woman after she broke off their relationship.
He plead guilty in May 2013 to reduced charges of using a computer to send threatening messages and disorderly conduct and was sentenced in July 2013 to 90 days in jail. That sentence was stayed as long as Jansen received counseling, had no contact with the woman whatsoever and passed urinalysis tests scheduled by the court.
We will update this story when we have more information.
