Jeffrey Mark Suhr, 56, passed away at home on Friday. He was born in Wisconsin Rapids on February 25, 1961, and is the son of Gary and Joan (Nee:Ackley) Suhr.
Jeff graduated from William Horlick High School “Class of 1979”. He joined Racine Telecable in 1981 (now Spectrum) and was employed there for 35 years until his health declined. Jeff was a sports fan who enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, boating, camping, gardening, walking, and woodworking. He was a quiet person who treasured time with family and friends especially with his daughter. Everyone appreciated his generosity and sharing his expertise with home improvements. He will be deeply missed.
Surviving are his daughter, Reilly; parents, Gary and Joan; brothers, Jay (Kimmarie) of Austin, TX, Eric (Nancy) of Union Grove, Rob (Kim) of Wales, Brian of Oak Creek; uncle and aunt, Jim and Kathy Suhr of Wheaton, IL; 5 nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Preservation Hall. A time of remembering will follow at 7 p.m. Memorials to one’s favorite charity have been suggested.
