Johnson Health Tech North America is relocating its South Milwaukee manufacturing operation to a 200,000 square-foot leased space in the Grandview Business Park, 1333 Grandview Parkway.

With a headquarters in Taiwan, the company makes fitness equipment for commercial and residential use. Their global product development, marketing and engineering operates out of Cottage Grove.

“Johnson Health Tech is committed to investing in Racine County and creating new opportunities for growth,” said Howard Launstein, Plant Controller, Johnson Health Tech North America. “We look forward to our commitment in Yorkville and seeing how this project will help optimize our business and succeed in the long-term.”

Once fully staffed, the company expects to employ 75 people at the manufacturing facility. The company makes fitness equipment under the brand of Matrix, Vision and Horizon.

Peter Hansen, chairman of the board for the Town of Yorkville, is excited about the news.

“Johnson Health Tech North America is a fantastic business and we are pleased they have chosen our community as the center of their manufacturing operations,” he said.
