Kathryn Holub, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 20119 at her residence. She was born to the late William and Ione (Nee:  Darocher) Zieroth and grew up in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

She married George Holub on January 13, 1954, and moved to Racine a year later. Before retiring in 1997, she worked for Racine County for thirty years. Kathryn was an active member of the Racine County Commission on Aging, Southeastern Wisconsin Area Agency, and Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups. She was also a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. But above all else, she cherished her family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Michael Holub of Racine Daniel  Holub of Biloxi, MS, Jacqueline (Michael) Toutant of Racine;  five grandchildren; great-grandchildren; former husband, George Holub; brother, Frank (Nancy) Zieroth of Rice Lake, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, George Jr.

There will be a Memorial Mass celebrated on Monday, January 21, 2019, at noon at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Reverend William Dietzler will be officiating. Friends and relatives can meet with the family from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Entombment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, located on Hwy 32.
