Take a Ride to the North Pole on the Lake Geneva Cruise Line Santa Cruise. Delight in the magic of the holiday season with a trip to the North Pole on the Lake Geneva Cruise Line Santa Cruise. Running from Thanksgiving until New Year’s, families and friends are greeted by jolly elves as they step aboard the historic Grande Belle boat for their trip to Santa’s North Pole hideaway on Lake Geneva. Decked out with twinkling lights, the Grand Belle is enclosed and heated offering a cozy atmosphere for all to enjoy the live narration. It’s sure to become a new family tradition as all enjoy the journey passing various lighted scenes and displays on the cruise to Santa’s North Pole hideaway.
The Santa Cruise departs from the Cruise Line’s winter harbor located in Williams Bay at Gage Marine & Pier 290 after ticket holders have had a chance to enjoy a walk through the Twelve Charities of Christmas Tree Festival (located in Gage Marine’s wooden boat center). Featuring twelve trees creatively trimmed, this winter wonderland is guaranteed to bestow joy upon all ages.
Santa Cruise passengers have time to enjoy activities and a cash bar stocked with adult and children’s beverages as the boat cruises along the north shore of Geneva Lake for viewing of lighted holiday displays. Children continue to be amazed as the cruise comes to a halt at Santa’s North Pole hideaway where Santa comes out to greet the boat and read off all of the children’s names on the nice list.
“After investigating other holiday events, our team realized that we could create a unique experience in Lake Geneva for locals and visitors to enjoy,” said Bill Gage, president and owner of Gage Marine, Lake Geneva Cruise Line and Pier 290. “After a successful inaugural year in 2016, we are expecting 2017 to be even better. It’s a great way to spread holiday joy and give back to the community,” added Bill.
