Parents interested in having their children take vitamins can get them for free from Lakeview Pharmacy, 516 Monument Square, beginning today. The pharmacy already offers free antibiotics to adults and children, but the free vitamin program is part of their Neighborhood Kids Club. Parents and guardians can pick up a 30-day supply of vitamins for each of their children every month, according to a press release by Lakeview Pharmacy. “This is not a limited time program, this will be ongoing just like our Free Antibiotics program.,” according to Terra Morris, director of projects and marketing for Lakeview Pharmacy. “This is just another way for Lakeview Pharmacy to give back to our community. There will not be a cost to the parents for the vitamins.” The pharmacy will also host a kickoff even at Party on the Pavement, Sept. 26 in front of their store for parents and guardians to sign-up. If you aren’t able to attend the kickoff event, registrations will also be taken at the pharmacy during regular hours. “Our goal is to reach as many families within our community as possible,” Morris said. They are also looking to partner with different organizations to help them spread the word about the program.
