**Editor’s note: This Letter to the Editor was submitted by Sturtevant resident Rob Amos. Attention Sturtevant residents: There is “new blood” running for a trustee position on our village board. In this election there are three positions up for election. As a volunteer on the fireworks committee for several years, with many encounters with the current board, they do a great job. They are fiscally responsible, they support all education opportunities presented, they support the fireworks to the best of their ability and they work with our police department weekly in order to keep Sturtevant as safe as possible. I support the incumbent trustees and hope you will do the same. Remember new blood doesn’t necessarily mean better blood. Chris Larsen, Chris Wright and John Johnson, have the continued experience we need , and have earned your vote. Rob Amos Sturtevant

Love what we do?

In addition to our education features, we’ll be kicking off a series of stories highlighting how parents, students, and educators are adapting to the impact of COVID-19 on education.
