I just came back from a meeting at Mt. pleasant village hall. It was so refreshing to see a large group get up and voice their concerns on a very costly water line project the village board wants to shove down the throats of the residents of Hwy V. Sound familiar? Shame on us on the East side for not standing up to the village board on their decision to close the Lake Park fire station and leaving us with a very inadequate response times. It’s not to late to fight for your family’s safety. Let’s get organized and stand up for our lives and property!
