The Willkomm’s are seeking the Racine and Mt. Pleasant communities support on the following expansion: We are hearing that we will have some opposition to our proposed Spring Street Development at the upcoming public hearing that is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5.

At this meeting we are requesting rezoning from residential to business for much of the block bounded by Green Bay Road, Spring Street, Ohio Street and Sunnyside Avenue. The meeting will be held at the Mount Pleasant Village Hall, 8811 Campus Drive. If you live or work in Racine, we need your help. We are calling on all of our super fans.

We are looking to gather names in support of The Dish Restaurant, convenience store, gas station & car wash for the proposed development so we can show the board that this development IS wanted. You can support us by filling out a simple form on our website. It will ask you for your email address, name, address – we PROMISE this information will not be used for anything else besides showing the board members our community supports this. Once we are done with this information, we will delete it.

You can find the link to this form here: http://www.willkommcompanies.com/supportwillkomms.html If you can spare some of your precious time, you can support us by attending the public meeting and speaking on behalf of the need for this proposed development. All you would have to do is give your name, address and that you support this development. That’s it. If you want to go into more reasons, that’s fine but all they are looking for at this point is how many are for this development and how many are against it.

We are trying to get MORE people at this meeting that are FOR this development. Again, the meeting is next Tuesday, May 5th at 6:30pm the Mount Pleasant Village Hall. We appreciate your support! Sincerely, Willkomm family of companies: Southport Mobil, Sports Plaza Mobil, Washington Ave. Mobil, Washington Ave. Burger King, Willkomm’s PETRO, Iron Skillet Restaurant, Oak Creek Oasis Mobil, The Dish Restaurant and Jerry Willkomm Inc.
