Linda M. Karls, 68, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Ascension All Saints Medical Center. A lifelong Racine resident she was born on June 26, 1949, and was the daughter of the late William and Rosemarie (Nee: Ozowski) Karls.
Linda was a graduate of Washington Park High School “Class of 1967”. Linda was a longtime employee of St. Mary’s Hospital, retiring in 1988. She was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church. An avid bowler and huge Wisconsin Badger fan, she also enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and her clown collection. More than anything she loved her trips to Sturgeon Bay and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She will be dearly missed by her brothers and sisters, Lawrence Karls, Debra Peasley, Mary (Robert) Becker, Patrick Karls, all of Racine, Jay (Patricia) Karls of Sturtevant; stepmother, Martha Karls; stepbrother and stepsisters, David (Peggy) Mutsch, Debbie Griffiths; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Karen Karls; and brother-in-law, David Peasley.
All are encouraged to wear their Badger wear to a Memorial Service held on Friday, November 17, 2017, 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
