Jazz in July
Jazz in July will take place on July 31, 2022, at St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church. This outdoor fundraising event will support and serve as a way to continue providing valuable resources for the Senior Companion Program, a nonprofit in Racine.
The Senior Companion Program was founded in 1978 by the Racine Dominicans. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life for the elderly through socialization and information. Volunteers visit those in need of companionship.
Important information
- Tickets for this fundraiser are $25 per person. Tickets must be purchased in advance by calling 262-898-1941 or by emailing scp@seniorcompanionshipprogram.org. Cash, credit card, and checks are accepted forms of payment.
- Tickets will include pizza, dessert, and one beverage of your choice. There will also be additional beer, soda, wine, and water available for purchase.
- There will be indoor restrooms available.
- In case of rain or inclement weather, the event will take place inside.
- There will be basket raffles, 50/50 raffles, silent auctions, and more.
- Attendees should bring their own chairs, sun hats, sunscreen, and dancing shoes. That’s right, live big band music will be played. Get ready to listen to jazz and swing music. The event will feature local musicians including James Yorgan Sextet.
