A peeping tom who Mount Pleasant police say used a mirror to peer under the door of a fitting room at Kohl’s is behind bars.
A woman Friday afternoon told officers she was in a dressing room at Kohl’s, 5500 Washington Avenue, and saw a male hand holding a small mirror come from under the door. She yelled and opened the door to the fitting room and chased the man through the store but lost site of him when he ran outside to the parking lot.
Police were able to identify the 40-year-old suspect with the witness’ description, police reports and available evidence.
The man Racine man is facing misdemeanor invasion of privacy and disorderly conduct charges as well as the possibility of returning to prison. He remains at the Racine County Jail on a probation violation.
