A Caledonia man is charged with sexual assault, false imprisonment, disorderly conduct and battery after a woman reported that he kept her from leaving his home and sexually assaulted her Monday and Tuesday.
Travis L. Colburn, 32, could be sentenced to prison of convicted of the two felonies and two misdemeanors. He made his initial appearance Wednesday.
Kenosha County sheriff’s deputies were sent to a Yorkville gas station on Tuesday, where a woman said she wanted to get a restraining order against Colburn and to pursue criminal charges against him
She told deputies she and Colburn had gotten into a verbal argument Monday night, and that he threatened to harm her and her family, and eventually forced her to have sex with him.
He is being held in jail on a $50,000 bond.
