A Mount Pleasant man is charged with burglary, for a break-in and theft at Sound Decisions, 1144 S. Airline Road, in Mount Pleasant. The owner of the business called police on Nov. 26, saying he found the front door glass had been broken and change and checks were strewn about inside, according to the criminal complaint. The cash drawer was missing, and video from overnight showed a distinctive vehicle pulling up, followed by a brick going through the glass window. Then, a man – later identified as Daniel Sanger, 54 – is seen coming inside and taking the cash drawer, the brick, and then leaving the business in the same vehicle. The owner of the business recognized the vehicle and said they had performed work on the car earlier in the year. Sanger made his initial appearance on the charges today.
