UPDATE: Racine Police have confirmed that a man was found shot in the face in the area of Hamilton and LaSalle Street. He was taken to Ascension-All Saints Hospital.

The man’s identity has not been released. The extent of his injuries is unknown.

A bullet was found in the base of a door at 1019 Hamilton Street. No one is in custody at this time. Police are currently investigating.

Police are asking those who have any additional information about this crime to step forward. Any witnesses, or citizens with information, are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.
