Caledonia Police are on scene after a man shot himself at about 3:15 p.m. Monday at Shooter’s Sports Range, 4900 6 Mile Rd.

A man with a self-inflicted gunshot wound was taken by ambulance to the hospital just after 3:30 p.m., said Lt. Gary Larsen.

The man is still alive and expected to be taken to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee from Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare — All Saints in Racine.

The identity of the man is being withheld pending notification of family.
