If you’re looking for a clever and loving addition to your family, Elvira is the girl for you.

Elvira is a six-pound, two-year-old domestic shorthair looking for her furever family. She takes a little while to warm up so you can expect her to hide until she feels comfortable.

“She’s a mysterious cat who may sneak off and hide for the first few days in her new home, which is why the WHS Racine Campus staff call her a ‘Hidden Treasure,'” Wisconsin Humane Society spokesperson Angela Speed said.

Once Elvira realizes she’s home for good, you’ll see a sweet, smart, clever and affectionate personality.

“Give her time to blossom and she’ll return your love tenfold,” Speed confirmed.
