If you’re like a lot of folks around here, you may be thinking the new year is the perfect time to add the pawfect friend to your family and to get in shape. Adopting Lobo gets you to both goals.

He’s a 3-year-old pit bull mix who loves to run and play so you’ll have to get off the couch so he can burn off some of his considerable energy. After you’re both tuckered out, Lobo will nothing more than to curl up with you and take a nap.

“He’s a personal trainer, life coach, and snuggle buddy, all in one handsome package,” Wisconsin Humane Society spokesperson Angela Speed says.

Lobo’s adoption fee is just $79 and includes microchipping and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service.

He is sponsored by Havahart and the folks at Sebastian’s restaurant, 6025 Douglas Ave. in Caledonia.
